MRC Recycling & Organics Conference
5Heart Earthworm Farm made some great connections at the 42nd Annual Recycling & Organics Conference! Attendees loved hearing what was new on the farm and how our operations help to bridge the gap between food waste and healthy soil. Plus, who doesn’t love walking away with a free sample of Premium Worm Castings?
Thank you to everyone at the Michigan Recycling Coalition who helped to make this year’s conference possible. We can’t wait to see you all in Muskegon in 2025!

5Heart at Thomas Twp. Farmers Market
For the second year in a row, 5Heart is among the many vendors, crafters, and farmers at the Thomas Township Farmers Market this season. We are selling our Premium Worm Castings in quart jar and 5-gallon bucket sizes. This open-air pavilion even contains live music and a food truck on market days! We will be attending this farmers market every Monday from 4-7pm on June 24 to October 7. Find additional information about the Thomas Township Farmers Market on their website.

Annual Independence Day Parade
5Heart Earthworm Farm was one of over 40 entries in this year’s Birch Run Rotary 4th of July parade! We showed off our e-tractor and float as we celebrated our country’s freedom and spread the word about what we do on the farm. Turnout was nothing less than amazing, as always! We look forward to participating in next year’s parade as well; it’s a can’t-miss event!

2024 Summer Day Camp
Another educational, hands-on, nature-filled Summer Day Camp in the books! Attendees became worm scientists for the day as they learned about worm anatomy and how they play a crucial role in our environment, and even took part in some fun educational activities such as planting their own seeds, rock painting, and more! Good times were had, and great friends were made!
