As an Organics Maven and a Resource Conservationist for the Genesee Conservation District, she thrives on education about all things food; from building healthy soils to growing nutrient-dense food to the end-life of food scraps. Sarah is the CEO of iris Waste Diversion Specialists, and Owner of 5Heart Earthworm Farm. She’s passionate about reducing waste and teaching about the benefits of using worm castings to improve soil health. Worm bins are growing in popularity as a method of reducing the amount of food waste thrown out across America. It even produces a rich source of natural nutrients for your plants!
