Build a Worm Bin Workshop

April 26 @ 9:30 am - 11:30 am

$130

Learn how to put red worms to work for you at this build-your-own worm bin workshop. During this hands-on workshop participants will put together a worm bin while learning how to successfully maintain it. This fun and educational method of using worms to compost, called vermicomposting, is a proven method for reducing the amount of food waste thrown out with the garbage or put down the drain.

Maintaining a worm bin results in the production of worm castings, a rich source of plant nutrients that replaces the need for chemical fertilizers; a healthy choice for us and the earth.

Worms are wondrous creatures that provide multiple benefits to planet earth. Come and learn how you can put their voracious appetite to work for you!

Registration for this workshop is $130 and includes your take-home bin, one pound of red worms, bedding material, care supplies, worm bin care guide and post workshop support. You can register at www.5heartwormfarm.com, (989) 321-2804 or here.
